30-Second Elevator Pitch

A crucial skill for any educator is the ability to make extremely complex subjects sound intelligible and interesting to strangers. Typically there is a trade-off between the accuracy of the information conveyed and the ease with which others can understand it. I’ve given myself an arbitrary 30-second limit to try to explain my work to others. The hope is that I can help strangers understand what I do with minimal time commitment on their part.
